the meeting will be canceled do to me not being available this week.  I will allow Hornsrkier to hold the meeting since i can’t make it. Only if he say’s he can hold the meeting. If he doesn’t it will be canceled.

Events – Rexxy Awards Party and Blogosaurs

Hey everybody! On Sunday, as you know, is the Rexxy Awards. Well, they are also having a party! The room will be the Lizard Lounge in Jurassic at 12:00 Webosaurs Standard Time. I hope you can make it!

Also, blogosaurs should be coming out any moment now. Remember, being a blogosaur will keep your blog on the blogroll. That means if you have a blog, it will be taken off the blogroll if you do not become a blogosaur. Blogosaurs will get to test a secret site and have a special badge.

Dance Party Tourney Winners

Duuuuudes. We had so much fun playing dance party on Saturday! There was a bluggin’ tourney at the Tonto Plateau and so many dino dudes came out to get their groove on. We saw some serious domination on the dance floor and after about 20 tourney rounds, we had our winners!

1st Place: Chipmunk
2nd Place: Crusherd
3rd Place: Sludge

And get this dudes! At the end, our friend Chip gave his gold trophy to Crusherd, and Crusherd traded for his silver trophy. What a generous broceratops!!

New Understory Layer!!!!!!!!!

Yo Broceratopsians! We just released a big ol’ update today for you guys. See that new area up above? Yeah, that’s the Understory Layer… and it rulez. In it you’ll find the new pet shop and the Giant Umbrella, a brand new restaurant. The pets aren’t available for purchase yet, but you can see them running around in their pens!

You can’t just walk into this place though… Dr. Nanosaurus had the password but Pterry accidently blew it up. You’ll have to collect letters hidden throughout the island and then arrange them in order if you want to get inside. Read more about the quest when you click on the main Understory Layer entrance in the Forest Floor.

Q: Where were the first dinosaur trackways found? -Doulas1

A: Great question Doulas1. In all actuality, dinosaur tracks have probably been found by humans for centuries – they just didn’t know what they were. If you remember, the Chinese had found dinosaur bones way before anyone else did, but they thought they were dragon bones. In the United States, Native American drawings have been found next to tracks calling them “bird tracks.”

The first authenticated dinosaur tracks were found by the hilariously named Pliny Moody, a farmboy in South Hadley, Massachusetts. He dug them up in 1802 while ploughing up slabs of reddish rock. The newly found tracks were displayed at the Moody family farmhouse. The local doctor decided they were the tracks of Noah’s Raven, and the set of tracks were henceforth known by that name. It wasn’t until later that they were determined to be the tracks of a small ornithischian dinosaur.

Find the Mod All Afternoon

It’s time for another all-afternoon session of FIND THE MOD!

The afternoon mods will be logging in as “Findmeosaur” to conduct the Find the Mod hunts. Be warned, that account will not be accepting friend requests to make the Find the Mod hunts fair for everyone.

Meet Findmeosaur at the Croc Peninsula Treefort at the following times today (Monday) in the Jurassic server. (WST = Webosaurs Standard Time = Central Time)

The winner of each Find the Mod hunt will win 500 coins!!! Once you meet up with Findmeosaur, they will hide anywhere on the island (besides caves) and you have to track them down first! You have to find them and call them out from their hiding spot.
